1. Easy control of font size (try ctrl+ & ctrl- as many times as you like)

Note:
If your Firefox didn't work, you should check settings about proxy. It should be set as proxy.cycu.edu.tw at port 3128.

Using Personal Portal

1. Enter
http://www.google.com/ig

The Google account is the same as your Blogger account.

2. Rearrange the templates. And perhaps remove blocks that you don't need.

3. Add new stuff. For now add the Google Reader block. You should be able to see the subscriptions in the Google Reader block of your personal portal.

為什麼要學寫程式

電子系同學大多不重視寫程式，想不透是誰給他們寫程式不重要的錯誤概念，事實上寫程式對電子系同學的重要性絕對不亞於資工系，無論是通訊，數位，用到程式的機會極高。現在的系統講究智慧，智慧從哪裡來? 當然是軟體。以手機為例，手機硬體大同小異，功能差異性主要來自軟體。所謂科技來自人性，軟體居功厥偉。

電子系不等於焊電路接麵包板而已，所以千萬不要輕視寫程式。寫程式的好處如下:

以後工作用得上。現在的世界是買硬體送軟體，以後是買軟體送硬體。
訓練清晰頭腦，培養邏輯思考能力。
快速試做一個概念，因為你在耗時耗費實做之前，即可先用軟體程式模擬。如果結果不錯，再去實做不遲。

閱讀論文的目的

指導老師要求你看論文的目的是要你應用到自己的研究上，我目前看到的問題是: 你們閱讀論文只想到讀完以後報告給老師聽，遇到自己的研究時還是習慣關起門來自己發想，沒有聯想到前人的智慧結晶。要知道，一個好的研究通常都需要站在巨人的肩膀上。

合作研究的專業與自律

好不容易一起做研究，把工作進度，實做成果，下季計畫，需要團隊互相配合之處提出，有了分享與溝通，良好的互動經驗，以後要碰到困難時互相支援才有可能。

台灣學術界流行只分工不合作，這好像不是經費的問題，

就算每個人分到1000萬，情況就會不一樣嗎? 合作研究是一種伙伴關係，最好的研究常常是跟最要好的朋友一起做出來的，不少人還是很客氣，希望不要打擾別人，別人也不要擾我。

哪一天大家能夠有話直說，用心對待，大概研究也會跟著更上一層樓吧。

Google Docs

On this Internet-based tool, you are able to edit a paragraph while someone is working on another. In order to do so, you got to have an account to login Google. Please use your email to apply for one so that you can use it now. A link to the document will be included in the message, please just click on the link to collaborate.

Please be noted that not only can you browse the document but also you can edit and update it freely. You may see other colleagues online at the same time and refrain from making updates. Please feel free to go ahead. The software will resolve change conflicts for you.

The revision history will keep a log of all changes. So your changes will be noticed by other colleagues and re-reviewed.
